This is about how many of us, as children, used to huddle under the covers at night, twisting the dials of transistor radios to catch BBC London or Voice of America on the AM band - only to grow up to become noise artists, DJs, or musicians. It is dedicated to the children of the 70s and 80s. This track simply features ordinary Japanese radio broadcasts on the shortwave band; I took a one-hour recording of scanning through the frequencies and edited out all the uninteresting, monotonous, mind-numbing noise and silence. That is why I simply couldn't make the track any shorter than it is - there is no short version, and there never will be.
