PROPERPROUD is a label created in Terrassa (Barcelona - Spain) in late 2004 by Santi Serrate and Roger Salmeron. The two dj's and producers are experienced and for more than 10 years working in different sessions and proposals for electronic music. The creation of this label has been the best way to translate their concerns and carry out an idea that for many years had in mind. PROPERPROUD is a label dedicated mainly to the electro-techno, EBM, electro and techno. Regardless of the sounds that are fashionable, the currents that come from abroad, etc ... With this in mind Roger and Santi always wanted to give an overview of his musical tastes reflected in his dj mix's, and now in each of the references of PROPERPROUD. The artistic philosophy of the label is clear. Focus on quality and not by the popularity of the artists. PROPERPROUD has the doors open for all kinds of artists (whether known or not), what matters is the quality of their work. The first reference was released in June 2005, coinciding with the festival Sónar'05, and important place to start! This was the reference PROPERPROUD 001::: VV: AA / I Have Seen The Light. Achieved fantastic results at the level of criticism and public. Many were the DJs and producers who charted or gave their support to this first reference. In December 2005, was released the second release: PROPERPROUD 002::: VV: AA / Minimalüsculo Cerebro. Getting over a very favorable response in terms of sales and public and unconditional support of some of the DJs and most respected producers nationally and internationally. During the late 2006 hit the market PROPERPROUD references 003::: Millimetric / Engrenage EP and PROPERPROUD 004::: Human Body / Digital War EP and dj's as Dave Clarke, Miss Kittin, Angel Molina, ASCII Disko, Oscar Mulero, etc... played them and charted on their Top 10. After a long brake due a problems on vinyl distribtion Properproud appeared again in September 2009 with ROPERPROUD 005 ::: VV.AA / Closing Mouths. The EP recived good feedbacks from Dave Clarke who played the Closing Mouths track (from Strange Connection) and Halim The Dream (from Adriano Canzian) in his famous radio show White Noise! The Properproud crew is formed for artists as Strange Connection, Millimetric, Adriano Canzian, Ruben Montesco, Jonathann Cast, Human Body, HD Substance and many more to come... After a 2 years of silence Properproud will reappear in this 2011 to stablish the label without more silences... Properproud will release the EP's on digital format and some of the in very limited vinyl edition. It's hard to release in vinyl right now but the Properproud guy's doesn't want to lose the vinyl choice! The new Properproud's material will come from Properproud artists as Strange Connection, Millimetric or Adriano Canzian and from new artists on the label as Nomenklatur, Jauzas The Shining, Francois DU Elektronic, Franck Kartell and many more to come!!!!!
