ViRGo aka SkY18 (Rameez Hendricks) hails from Cape Town - South Africa.
Introduced to Electronic Dance music around the late 90’s and early 2000’s and taking a keen interest in mixing and dj sets, it wasn’t too long before he found his place behind the decks.
Influenced mostly by trance and progressive artist, contrary alias’s was quickly developed.
ViRGo explores the hard driving energetic sounds, the true club floor stompers while SkY18 focuses on the melodic, atmospheric and uplifting feel that electronic music has to offer. ViRGo has also recently teamed up with fellow cape townian, Dj Sharmil, to form the fully driven duo “VersuS”.
2010/2011 already brought forth support dj sets alongside likes of Cosmic Gate, Marcel Woods and Jason van Wyk. With the focus now turned to music production, he aims to create a unique story that brings about an enjoyable listen with each production.
