Beatport: What are Voided Transactions?
Voided Transactions are release purchase cancellations that are returned by customers for various reasons, such as if the release was purchased in error or if the customer didn't like it.
The customer has 45 days to cancel the purchase, but the transactions themselves can be processed for several months after the original purchase date and are counted in the current quarter's sales.
Sometimes, a delay in processing voided transactions can result in your report showing that you didn't make money on the release, but "went into the red." In reality, you just got back the money you had previously received for the sale, and didn't lose anything, but you didn't make any money either.
