What is Pitching?
Pitching is your chance to present your music to playlist editors and reach a new audience through streaming services.
It's a process that requires thorough preparation to ensure your release captures attention and gets selected for playlist inclusion. We offer our clients the opportunity to pitch releases on Apple Music and VK Music.
We recommend submitting a pitch request at least 14 days before the release date.
This ensures that editors have enough time to review your release.
How to Pitch With Us
Apple Music
Submissions are accepted once a week on Fridays.
Independent artists can pitch one track per week, while labels can pitch up to three.
To pitch a track to Apple Music editors, fill out the special Apple Music spreadsheet (in English only) and send the completed spreadsheet to yury@sundesiremedia.com.
VK Music
Submissions are accepted only on weekdays, and each track requires a separate application.
To pitch a track to VK Music, send an email with the subject "VK Pitching" to yury@sundesiremedia.com with the following content:
- Release date (dd.mm.yyyy).
- Label name.
- Artist name — Release title.
- Release type (Single/Album/EP).
- Focus track (for albums and EPs).
- Genre.
- EAN code.
- Release description.
- Marketing information.
- Listening link (cloud service, no download required).
- VK artist page / other social media.
- Link to relevant release photos.
Self-Pitching
Yandex Music
To pitch a track, submit an application through your Bandlink account.
Zvuk
To pitch a track, register in the Studio app and complete the form.
Spotify
To pitch releases on Spotify, register in Spotify for Artists.
