How to upload an audio file?
The process of uploading tracks is a two-step process: first you upload files to the release, and then you assign those files to the appropriate tracks.
Instruction
- Enter the release editor, open the "Media files" section in the left menu.
- Select and upload the required file from your computer or FTP directory. The file is now uploaded, but not yet attached to the track.
- Go to the "Tracks" section and click the green "+" — this will create a new empty track.
- Double-click on it to open the track editing window.
- In the "Stereo Track" tab, select the previously uploaded file. The file is now attached to the track.
Changing an audio file
By following the instructions given earlier, you can also replace the old audio file with a new one.
The main thing here is to remember that there should be no unattached files left in the release. If you have replaced a track file with a new one, please delete the old version of the file.
