How to set an Exclusive period?
An exclusive period is a timeframe during which a release is available only on a specific platform.
We offer the opportunity to set an exclusive period on the following platforms:
- Apple Music / iTunes
- Beatport
- Deezer
- Spotify
- Traxsource
- Juno
The Benefits of an Exclusive Period
An exclusive period can help draw additional attention to your release. For example, on Beatport, a platform popular among DJs, your release will be marked as "Exclusive", making it more noticeable to a larger number of users.
The duration of the exclusive period can vary from 2 to 8 weeks. After this period, the release will automatically become available on other platforms you have chosen.
How to Set an Exclusive Period?
To set an exclusive period for your release, navigate to the “Dates and Prices” tab while editing the release and select the “Exclusive on” option, specifying the desired platform.
